Hallowe'en Door

My Hallowe'en door is finished! I changed a couple things, I outlined the pumpkins eyes and mouth with glow-in-the-dark thread, as well as doing the spiderweb, spiders eyes, and outlining the ghosts with the same. I thought the light needed something, so changed the color to a fluorescent yellow. The hair I also changed to a fluorescent green. Now I have to find the perfect frame.

This was more difficult to stitch than I had imagined. It says it all, I think. I lost my parents and mysweetheart to this. Let me tell you, it does not get easier. Losing my love was as painful, if not more so, than losing my mother.

Eskimos and a Warning

When I took Richard to watch my Eskimos lose...we parked near where we used to live, and I got a shot of this mural showing them in their heyday...you cn see Normie Kwong, Dave Cutler, Wilkie, Hugh Campbell, Warren Moon, Henry "Gizmo" Williams,...all the greats
Also, for those continuing to older posts...if you are easily offended, take heed, there is a finish from a chart designed by Subversive Cross Stitch. It is a curse word....
