Update

Have been a busy person lately...started job hunting a while ago, and found a part-ime job at our small town paper. The hours are not guaranteed, some weeks, may only work two days instead of three, but started last Friday night, worked Tuesday night, and worked a day shift today. This is a job I enjoy..so far. I am really tired at the end of the day, but feel like I am doing something. Friday I worked 4 hours, and my back really hurt. Tuesday I worked the whole 6 hours, no back pain, and todays hours totalled over 7 hours..still no back pain. My feet and knees on the other hand....ouchie!! But...I feel good!!

Have been doing a bit of stitching, mostly between a Thanksgiving Door, and le Grand Marquoir. Need batteries for the camera, so when I get some, will post progress pictures.

Tomorrow, am going to dismantle a 4x8 pool table and move it to the basement, then reassemble it. Kids are going to love it!!

Hallowe'en Door

My Hallowe'en door is finished! I changed a couple things, I outlined the pumpkins eyes and mouth with glow-in-the-dark thread, as well as doing the spiderweb, spiders eyes, and outlining the ghosts with the same. I thought the light needed something, so changed the color to a fluorescent yellow. The hair I also changed to a fluorescent green. Now I have to find the perfect frame.

This was more difficult to stitch than I had imagined. It says it all, I think. I lost my parents and mysweetheart to this. Let me tell you, it does not get easier. Losing my love was as painful, if not more so, than losing my mother.
